Butler County Conservation District Poster Contest winners

Grandview fourth grade students participated in a poster contest for the Butler County Conservation District and the winners were announced on Nov. 13, 2024. This year’s poster theme was, “May the forest be with you” which centered around the importance of trees.

Katharine Andrews won first place. Her poster will continue to the state level competition, which will be judged mid to late November. Only one fourth grader from Butler County was able to have their work submitted to the state level.

Marissa Cooper won second place. Collin Tetrick and Ava Thomas tied for third place and Katie Lechtenberg received an Honorable Mention.

Mr. Shum and Mrs. Barker each received $100 to use for their classrooms for participating in the contest.
