El Dorado Middle School orchestra students visited Kansas State University for the annual String Fling on October 29, 2024. It is a day filled with orchestra rehearsals and performances led by experienced conductors. The event provided a unique opportunity for young musicians to collaborate with peers from across Kansas and beyond, fostering connections and shared experiences.
Participants engaged in large ensemble sessions, enhancing their skills and musical understanding while working alongside the university's esteemed orchestra program. The day culminated in a thrilling performance by the KSU Symphony Orchestra, featuring EHS alumni Regan Lattey as a soloist on the violin.
