Five El Dorado Middle School Sixth Grade Orchestra students performed in the beginners' orchestra at the 2024 Southern Plains Honor Orchestra Festival on Saturday, February 10 at Andover Central High School.
The students were Liam Austin, Benjamin Crane, and Sandra Keener, violin; Laykin Erlich, viola; and Thomas Andrews, cello. This orchestra was conducted by El Dorado orchestra teacher Kevin Monroe.

Nine El Dorado Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Orchestra students performed in the advanced orchestra at the 2024 Southern Plains Honor Orchestra Festival on Saturday, February 10 at Andover Central High School.
The students were Blake Hopkins, Henry Diver, Dameon Griffith, Sofia Nuñez, violin; Kolby Cooper, viola; Patrick Andrews, Emily Krob, cello; and Christopher Thompson, bass. This orchestra was conducted by Beloit orchestra teacher Julia McMains, who completed her teaching internship in El Dorado in 2021.
