El Dorado High School Kansas Association of Youth (KAY) members hosted the Area 6 regional KAY conference on January 29.
The annual conference was an opportunity for high school KAY students from neighboring districts to meet and participate in team-building and service activities. This year, KAY state director Sarah Smith attended the conference to share a presentation.
Students participated in large and small group activities like Roller Coaster and Name That Song. They also made braided dog toys for local animal shelters. The school chapter KAY presidents had an opportunity to introduce themselves to the whole group and answer questions.
To wrap up the morning, information was shared about the summer KAY leadership camp and EHS KAY President Madison Busby shared about her experience at the camp the previous summer.
