USD 490 Facility Use Requests
This District’s facilities are used primarily to facilitate the education and development of school aged children. The Board of Education recognizes it is beneficial to make the facilities available to others in the USD 490 community when the use does not interfere with the school program.
It is not the intent of USD 490 to use building fees as a revenue source, but annual revenue from facility use should equal or exceed operation costs caused by outside group use.
Procedure for obtaining approval for use:
All applications for facility use shall be submitted online via the USD 490 website for scheduling and approval at least ten days and no more than one school year prior to date of use.
The Central Office will determine approval of use and billing of charges. Multi-date, long-term use agreements must be submitted to the Central Office and are granted only with Board of Education approval (i.e. swim club, youth league football).
