Driver's Education
Dear Families,
We are pleased to let you know that Driver’s Education courses will be offered to eligible students again this year. The course has two requirements: classroom coursework and driving. Students may choose from the following options:
OPTION 1: Virtual Coursework and Summer Driving by Appointment
For this option, students must be at least fourteen by April 1, 2025. Students will be able to complete coursework requirements online except for the Handbook Exam, which must be taken with supervision. A REQUIRED in-person testing session will take place at EHS for the Handbook Exam, and students will receive their textbook and login information also. Students can choose between two sessions: Tues., April 1st, OR Thurs., April 3rd. Both sessions will begin at 5:30 pm. This session takes 60-90 minutes on average. Students selecting this option will be able to begin coursework on April 7th. Optional help sessions will be available by appointment. Virtual coursework must be completed by May 20th. The final exam will be on May 22nd. Students wishing to select this option must register using the link below before March 28th. Driving will be scheduled by the instructor to occur between June 2nd and July 30th in groups of two to three. Enrollment is limited to 30 students.
