Last night, the El Dorado Middle School Choir transported us back in time with an unforgettable concert at the PAC, featuring the iconic sounds of the 70s! From soulful solos to stunning harmonies, our talented students showcased their remarkable vocal talents with flair and finesse.

Join us as we celebrate and honor our outstanding students for their remarkable achievements in various areas, including honor roll, music festival, student council, Kay Club, sports, spelling bee, and the prestigious KSHSAA citizenship award! This is a special opportunity for families to come together and show their support for our incredible students. We're thrilled to announce the upcoming 8th Grade Pool Party at the city swimming pool on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM! This is open to all current 8th graders at EMS.
To make this event even more memorable, we kindly ask each 8th grader attending to contribute by bringing a bag of chips or a package of cookies by next Wednesday. Your delicious contributions will add extra flavor to our festivities!
Rest assured, pizza and bottle water will be provided, ensuring our students have a fantastic time splashing around and enjoying some delicious treats with their friends.

A big thank you to Matt for sharing his expertise as a Maintenance Craft Area Specialist with our students. From insights into maintenance craft to the skills and techniques essential for keeping things running smoothly and the employees keeping up their certifications, it was an enlightening and engaging session.

What a fantastic day for our El Dorado Middle School students! 238 of our students had the incredible opportunity to attend the Butler Community College baseball game as a PROS reward party.
Butler baseball had an impressive doubleheader sweep against the Cloud County Thunderbirds, securing a home playoff series next week with wins of 5-3 and 11-5 at McDonald Stadium on Friday afternoon.

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming some local heroes to our school! Lieutenant Caleb Fistler, along with Firefighters Schmitt and Olson from the Butler County Fire Department, visited Mrs. Vides' class to share their experiences as firefighters. 🚒💨
They gave insights into their day-to-day duties, our students gained a firsthand glimpse into the courageous world of firefighting. It was an inspiring and informative session from these brave individuals. 🌟

Patriot League Soccer Tournament: EMS will be hosting Haysville West Middle School on Monday, April 29th. The Wildcats earned the #4 seed in the tournament, with HWMS at #5.
